How Credits Work
Credits are the currency for running generation jobs in StudioTwin. Each tool operation costs a set number of credits.

Monthly credits
New accounts start with 50 subscription credits per month, which reset each billing cycle.
Completing your profile raises this to 100 credits per month and adds 50 credits immediately. You'll be prompted on the Overview page, or you can do it any time from Account Details → Edit Profile. Four fields are required:
- First name
- Last name
- Team size
- Use case
Company is optional and isn't needed to unlock the higher allocation.

ConceptLab image costs depend on the selected resolution and quality. Costs are per generated image.

Editing from the active source image costs the selected resolution and quality price, plus 2 credits for the source image. Creating an empty Concept, uploading an existing image, and reviewing assets do not consume credits.

Text to Sound Effect Formula
The credits cost for the text to Sound Effect tool are based on the duration of the generated audio with a minimum cost
Formula: round( max( duration in seconds, 5) * 0.6)
When auto duration is selected, 18 credits are reserved upfront, corresponding to the maximum output length of 30 seconds. After the audio is generated, the actual duration is calculated and any unused credits are refunded.
Credit Types

| Subscription Credits | Monthly allocation. Used first before Top-Up credits. Resets each billing cycle. |
| Top-Up Credits | Purchased separately. Never expires or resets. Used after subscription credits are exhausted. |

- Click Buy Credits in the Dashboard, or Top Up on the Overview page
- Choose a credit package
- Complete the payment

Top-Up credits are added immediately and do not expire.
